Stopped in at Scores on 33rd in Cedar Rapids and had an all-around great time! The beer was ice cold, just the way it should be, and the service was absolutely terrific from start to finish. Big shout out to the owner and management team for building a culture that made the ladies working know they are valued and important to the restaurants success. You can tell the servers and bartenders loved their job. That is not by mistake, thats leadership coaching that attitude. Good job!!! I tried the wings, which were decent (I’ve had better), but what really stood out was the staff and management. When I asked if they could switch the TVs and play the World Series audio, they did it right away with no hesitation. That kind of customer-first attitude earns big points with me. We just need to come more often. Wings have the right crunch and flavor. Curds are always perfect. Nice selection of beers. Our waitress was amazing. Service was fast. Great sports bar with lots of space for a huge group.

We tried the appetizer Fire Cracker Chicken Cream Cheese Twists they were out of this world yummy. Then we both ordered chicken tenders. They were golden brown and seasoned to perfection. They were scrumptious white meat no scrimping there. I had the jalapeno creamed corn. The bowl was full to the top but I was ... hungry and dug in then remembered I should take pictures. That was delicious. I actually ate that first. My husband's totes were also golden brown and tasted great. Our only mistake was going in during the women's Hawkeye basketball game as we are not huge sports fans and during the game you felt like you were in a movie theater. It was super loud. On the bright side, I finally saw a Hawkeye women's basketball game and they won. LOL! There were only a couple of tables in there and they were having a lot of fun. Mind you it is a sports bar that's what's supposed to be going on in there. So while it may seem like I'm complaining, I am not just stating facts.
